Residential Development - Maresfield

Case Study

Maresfield Development

The Project

The project involved liaison with East Sussex County Council as Highway Authority to agree on the scope of work required. This involved vehicle swept path analysis to ensure the site is designed to accommodate a large refuse vehicle. A site visit was undertaken to assess the positioning of the access with particular attention to the visibility splays. An automatic traffic counter allowed for an accurate record of speeds to inform visibility splay requirements. The project was granted planning approval in August 2016.
