The Project

The planning application for a revision to the approved Plot 6B was submitted to increase the number of dwellings. The transport input included the preparation of the Transport Statement and design support for fire tender operation and emergency vehicle access as well as taxi drop off. The site experiences visitor parking issues and a report was prepared by TPI to recommend potential new locations for dedicated visitor parking spaces on the Wandsworth Riverside Quarter road network.

The Scheme

The Wandsworth Riverside Quarter masterplan comprises 504 residential dwellings and 8400sqm of commercial floor space on the 4 hectare former Shell Oil terminal site with frontage onto the River Thames in the London Borough of Wandsworth. Plot 6B is the final site to be developed and proposes some 172 dwellings at the eastern end of the site.
